Kochere, just south of Yirgacheffe town in the Gedeo Zone of Ethiopia, produces some of the finest coffees that Parlor has tasted. Elegant yet explosive, premium lots from Kochere possess an indelible citrus characteristic that is distinctly bergamot in nature. Our Kochere has an intensely floral aroma reminiscent of jasmine; the cup is weighted by a black tea base and exudes candied lemon sweetness. As our green buying team prepares for the next round of buying in the birthplace of coffee, we release this stellar lot sourced in Late Winter 2016 possessing all of the characteristics that made us fall in love with it the first time around.
