Colombia La Quebrada

Fig, honey, pomelo

We’ve long been delighted by the rich, sugary sweetness and saturated flavors of coffee from the mountainous regions of Southern Colombia. La Quebrada combines seasonal selections from independent specialty coffee farmers within this region, whose dedication yields a truly exceptional blend.

ABOUT THE COFFEE

Colombia La Quebrada

We’ve consistently sought out coffees from Huila for their comforting sweetness, balanced acidity, and complex, fruit-forward flavor profiles. Coffees from Maria Bercelia's farm, Finca Los Angeles, rank as some of the best processed, clean, and sweet lots in our lineup. Her work, which has earned her the admiration of the local farming community, speaks for itself—but it also inspired us to publish her story in 2019 as our first issue of Parchment.

Having full faith in the quality of her coffee, we’ve committed to purchasing every pound of it at a premium. This season we saw Maria’s largest green coffee delivery to date—a testament to the success of our eight-year direct trade partnership. Our AAA selection from Finca Los Angeles for La Quebrada presents distinct flavors of fig, raw honey, and pomelo.
