Wrapping up the Parlor Community Bake Sale

In the midst of the ongoing public health crisis, the hospitality industry has shuttered, reopened, redesigned, rebuilt, and pivoted in every way imaginable. With the Parlor Community Bake Sale, we called on our community to help support the baristas, servers, porters, managers, line cooks, and other members of the restaurant community who are still struggling to find work.

We're overwhelmed with gratitude for everyone who showed up to help us support the Service Workers Coalition during the first four Sundays in May.

Through the Parlor Community Bake Sale, we raised $7,200—ALL of which was donated to help provide food security for our restaurant community.

An additional $1,000 was matched by the Service Workers Coalition's campaign on ioby, bringing the final contribution total up to $8,200.

An enormous thank you to all the bakers that made this happen. Your treats surpassed our imaginations!
